Kristal Is the proud owner of the multi award winning La Villa Hairdressing and Extensions and Vixen & Luxe Hair Extensions, and is an award winning senior stylist of 20 years. Kristal is now ‘off the floor’ and has dedicated herself to leading her team of 14, focusing on constant growth and education both professionally and personally. Investing in top artists overseas to train her award winning team along with workshops for personal growth and customer relations, Kristal is constantly taking her team to new heights year after year. Kristal enjoys speaking at events around business, and loves her baby girl, her hubby, live music, nature and a good laugh!

Karina Burns - Operations Manager
Whether its ensuring your fav shampoo is in stock or arranging team events Karina is our girl! Karina keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes and is always working on new and better systems to implement here at LV. Karina is Kristals other right hand, and works closely alongside both herself and Jaz to support our salon systems and is very much our ideas lass! Karina has a daughter Mikayla and they love to jump in the car and voyage on regular road trips, Karina also looks after Kristals daughter Tovie a couple of days a week!
Jasmine Newman - Stylist
Jaz is a highly experienced stylist of 19 years and has been a founding member and creative genius at La Villa for 8 years. Jaz’s passion and expertise is fashion colour work, blonde work and she is a master at hair extensions. Jaz is Kristals head trainer and educator for Vixen & Luxe and travels nation wide training salons in our unique hair extension method. Jaz married her now husband Dan Feb of 2019, she has an infectious nature and loves relaxing at the beach in Summer with Dan and her sons Maddox and Radley. Oh, and she loves the odd snickers bar!

Emma Poole - Receptionist
You will see Emmas smiling face and warm welcome when you arrive at La Villa, and will hear her voice on the phone when you ring to book appointments. Emma is always smiling and has a super warm energy! Emma was previously a senior stylist for years, and decided to have a change, but loves our industry and still very much wanted to be a part of it, so she joined team La Villa 3 years ago. Emma is passionate about the customer experience, and enjoys talking and interacting with all walks of life. You will see Emma helping out on the floor now and then making use of her hairdressing skills, and in her spare time this bubbly lass will likely be socialising with friends.

Elyse Duncan - Stylist
Elyse has been hairdressing for 8 years and has been a member of our La Villa family for 3.5 years. Elyse started with us as an apprentice and has worked her way through her training with determination, and is now one of our skilful senior stylists. Elyse enjoys extension work and her specialty is blonde work, creating seamless colour blends and her finishing is next level! Elyse has a bright future in our industry, is busy on the floor and looking to continue to build her client base. Elyse can be found with a paint brush in her hand creating art in her spare time, or at the beach in Summer sporting a bikini working on her tan!

Anthony Jaimeson - Stylist
Anthony is an exceptionally skilled cutter and colourist, and creates seamless colour work particularly high fashion funky colours and blondes. Anthony has a strong skillset and huge passion for creating beautiful hair and has been hairdressing 8 years. Anthony has a beautiful soft nature and loves meeting new people and working his magic on their hair! You may find Anthony in a furniture shop shopping up a storm or over in the Wairarapa soaking up some sun on a nice day!

Jen Brown - Stylist
Jen is the queen of baby-lights and has a trained eye for perfect foil placement and exceptional blonde work. Jen has been hairdressing 18 years and is an experienced senior stylist and a valued team member here at LV! Jen is a fashionista and loves all things fashion particularly fashion clothing brands, She will be the lass in the loud pop of colour when you walk through our doors. Jen has a loyal client base and is a busy lady outside of La Villa also, with her husband Corey and kiddies Kyla and Myia.

Kristine Chapman - Stylist
Kristine is a lover of beautiful hair and the art of making each and every person feel amazing in our company, is paramount to her. Kristine has been hairdressing 20 years and is an experienced stylist who produces beautiful work, and confidently puts her hand to anything! Kristine is a laugh and a half in the salon, and has a calm energy with has a passion for helping people in a healing sense in her non hairdressing time. Libby has been hairdressing for 7 years and is a newer member of our La Villa family. Libby moved from New Plymouth to join LV and it feels like she has been part of the furniture for years! Libby enjoys and excels at blonde work creating seamless colour blends, and her balayage work is stunning! Libby has a bright future in our industry, she is a busy bee, and is excited to continue to grow her rapidly expanding client base. Olivia is a breath of fresh air who gracefully glides throughout the salon creating lovely lush locks for our clients! Liv has been a loyal Hutt gal for many years and has well and truly honed her craft specialising in beautiful bouncy blondes, and gorgeous blow waves! Liv is forever smiling and a kind soul who will ensure your experience at LV is second to none. Liv has 2 beautiful girls and a hubby who is in the building trade, and very much enjoys family time with her tribe!
Michaela Godkin - Extension Specialist & Apprentice Stylist
Michaela is our extension guru! This is a new position for La Villa and Michaela was a client of Kristals since she was a wee tot at 15 and has now joined team LV pumping out extensions full time! Michaela has a partner who runs his own business and helps out with that on the regular, you won’t miss these bright lush locks around the salon and you’ll seldom see this girl without a smile on her face!
Rosie Ray - Stylist
Rosie is our creative genus pumping out stunning vivid and beautiful balayages like she was born to do it! The natural talent with this gal is insane and she books up super fast. Rosie is our newest stylist and has the most beautiful energy and positive vibe! Rosie loves spending time with her man and enjoys a crush fun life outside of work.
Tayla Clarke - Assistant
Tayla is literally famous for her devine head massages! She has magic hands that take washing hair to new heights; we get this feedback from our clients weekly! Tayla is the oil in our machine and is great with welcoming clients and taking great care of them. Tayla is mum to a beautiful daughter and enjoys spending time with her getting up to all sorts in her spare time!
